Luca Montuori is an architect and associate professor with the Faculty of Architecture at the UniversitĂ  degli Studi di RomaTre.
In 2000, together with Riccardo Petrachi, he founded 2tr architecture (www.2tr.it). The work of the office was recently published in the “Special Issues” of DAMDI architecture publishing (Seoul, Korea). In 2009 the office participated in the Biennale diffusa di architettura contemporanea in Trevi and, in 2008, received the “Amate l’architettura” award for its design of the Archeological Park of Piano della Civita in Artena, also mentioned for the Gold medal at the Triennale di Milano. In 2011 2tr’s project for new public spaces in Santa Fiora received a special mention at the Piranesi Prix de Rome and is currently nominated for the 2012 Gold Medal edition.
As a member of the scientific committee of the Casa dell’Architettura in Rome (since 2007) he has been involved in the organisation of several initiatives, talks, conferences and exhibitions, including the Festa dell’Architettura di Roma (2010) and the Biennale dello Spazio Pubblico in Roma; he is currently involved in the planning of the 2017 edition.
He is also a member of the scientific committee of the II level Master OPEN in Landscape and Public Space Design.
