Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Architecture

Tesi_Antonacci_PaoloThe Bachelor’s Degree of Science of Architecture is composed by a well-balanced, rich and accurate combination of essential components concerning the architectural knowledge (scientific, humanistic, historical and technical). All subjects deal with both theoretical and practical aspects, whereas the design survey, the very true educational catalyst, tests and improves concurrent or interrelated notions. The primary goal is to build a solid basic education for further studies in architecture (in Roma Tre or in another Italian or European university); for this reason this Degree is conceived with a strong level of compatibility with all the analogous degrees in Science of Architecture.

A different, but equally important, educational goal is to provide cultural bases, well-structured and useful even to those who do not want to continue their studies: to those who intend to enter directly to the multiple professional prospects in the construction industry, otherwise, to those who want to follow elsewhere different pathways for further studies (First level Master’s degree, Master’s Degree in Design, Landscape, Conservation, Planning, Arts etc.).

The admission to the Bachelor’s Degree is regulated by the Ministerial Decree, in accordance with the 85/384/CEE Directive and further modifications, which sets terms and characteristics provided for the admission test and the number of available positions.
