“Anger, My Best Friend” (workshop) by Laura Pieroni
Wednesday, 15 October 2025, 8:30 – 10:30
School of Economics and Business Studies (Via Silvio D’Amico, 77) – Room 14
 
Description: In the seminar we will explore how to make the emotion of anger our best ally. We will learn how to listen to it, respect it, and manage it with awareness rather than being guided by it unconsciously. We will discover three ways to relate to this intense and fascinating emotion.

“Failing to Grow: How to Overcome Perfectionism and Procrastination” (mini‑course) by Ramona Fimiani

Description: Failure, though a natural part of learning and growth, is often experienced as a threat to self‑esteem and personal worth. This series of four sessions is dedicated to understanding our attitudes toward failure and the cognitive and emotional dynamics underlying perfectionism and procrastination. Through interactive reflection and dialogue, participants will gain new perspectives and tools to face future challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

“The Alchemy of the Emotion of Learning: How Our Emotions Impact Learning” (workshop) by Federica Lino

Description: Learning is not just a cognitive act, it is a deep emotional process involving the body, mind, and relational environment. Neuroscience today shows us how emotion is the prime mover of changing, the key to transforming thought and activating deep learning. This seminar explores the mechanisms of neuroplasticity and the role of emotions in building knowledge, learning, and motivation. Can emotions become tools to empower our learning?

“Love and Fear: Discovering Vulnerability” (workshop) by Laura Pieroni

Description: This seminar is dedicated to exploring two fundamental emotions: love and fear. Attention will focus particularly on their interconnection as a key to rediscovering a more conscious and mature understanding of these feelings. Finally, we will give space to a new perspective on vulnerability—regarded not as weakness, but as an authentic form of strength.
